Agent Pricing
Agent usage will be billed at $0.01 per credit, with 1,000 free credits per month.
We recently shifted to usage-based pricing.
How it works
Until now, usage of our Agent was included with our Status features at no extra cost. As we've rapidly expanded capabilities, and as Agent usage amongst our customers has grown, we are introducing a new pricing model for Agent which we think is fair and durable.
Agent usage will be billed at $0.01 per credit. Credits are calculated by taking the raw LLM cost of each Agent run (based on your prompts and parameters), then adding a 5% markup, then dividing by the value of each credit ($0.01). All customers receive 1,000 free credits per month (only applicable to Agent usage).
Credits apply to all Agent features: Slack queries, Macros, Check Run Agents, Webhooks, and Fix it for Me. Code Review and Status are priced separately and don't consume credits.
GitHub Admins can view detailed Agent usage logs in Settings → Billing, including exporting a full CSV with detailed cost and metadata.
GitHub Admins can view usage and download the Agent Credits Log from Settings → Billing.
Timing
This new Agent pricing (including the recurring 1,000 monthly credits) will be effective for any new signups after today.
For current customers, this pricing model will take effect on April 27, 2026. Agent usage will continue to be included at no extra cost until then.
