Monthly estimate assumes every review has the selected diff size. Count repeat reviews after new pushes, not just unique PRs. Trial credits are not deducted.
Every review bills a 10 KB floor. At this size, Budget saves $0.48 against the Balanced default and $3.33 against Ultra.

Install Macroscope and select Budget Mode.
In Settings → Repos, set Detection Mode to Budget. Every review in that repo uses it until you change it. The out-of-the-box default is Balanced.
In Settings → Personal, pin a mode to your own pull requests. When unset, the PR's repository mode is used.
Add macroscope-budget to the pull request and all subsequent pushes use it. Labels are matched on the mode they resolve to, so aliases and casings of one mode are fine; a label naming a different mode is ambiguous and skips the correctness check for that PR, though approvability and Check Run Agents still run.
Mention @macroscope-app in an issue comment — for example “@macroscope-app do a budget review” — to pick a mode for one review.
Budget Mode makes routine AI code review fast and affordable: $0.025 per KB of diff reviewed, with no per-seat fees or subscription. The 10 KB minimum means reviews start at $0.25; a 19 KB review costs about $0.48.
